RETURNS, EXCHANGE & RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL


Returns
At ÏMAIMA, we want you to feel completely at ease with your purchase. If something doesn't feel right, you may return your order within 14 calendar days from the day you receive your parcel — without giving any reason, as required by German and EU consumer law.

If you wish, you are warmly invited to share the reason for your return; your feedback helps us refine our craft. This step is entirely optional and will not affect your return.
Conditions for a return
We kindly ask that returned items meet the following criteria:

The garment is unworn and unused, except for trying it on in a manner similar to a retail store.
The garment is returned with all tags attached.
The garment is placed in its original packaging (where possible).
For hygiene reasons, pierced earrings cannot be returned or exchanged.
Return shipping costs
Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping, unless the item delivered was defective or incorrect.

Customs duties and import taxes are set by your local authorities and are non-refundable.
How to initiate a return
Please contact us at info@iimaima.com with:

Your order number
Date of transaction
Delivery address
(Optional) A short note or image if the item is defective or incorrect

We will provide the return address via email.

Once you have shipped the parcel, please forward us the scan or photo of the dispatch receipt. Refunds are issued once the return has been received or once we have received proof of return shipping — whichever comes first.
Refund timeline
Refunds are processed within 14 calendar days after we receive the returned item or acceptable proof of shipment. Depending on your bank, it may take an additional few days for the refund to appear in your account.

Exchanges
We are always happy to support exchanges for a different size or colour of the same style, provided the item meets the return conditions above.
Shipping on exchanges
Standard exchanges: return and new-shipment costs are borne by the customer.

ÏMAIMA covers the outbound shipping cost if:

The exchanged item is valued above 100 EUR; or
The original item was defective or did not match the order placed.

Items Not Eligible for Return
Under EU law, most items can be returned — including sale items. However, the following cannot be returned:

Pierced earrings, for hygiene reasons
Items explicitly marked "no return / no exchange" (e.g., certain limited or made-to-order pieces)

All other items, including discounted items, remain eligible for return in line with the statutory withdrawal rights.

Cancellations
Before Dispatch
If your order has not yet been dispatched, you may cancel it and receive a full refund for the product. Any customs fees that would have applied to the shipment are the responsibility of the customer and are not borne by ÏMAIMA.

Please email info@iimaima.com with your order number to request a cancellation.

Legal Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day you or a third party (other than the carrier) acquires physical possession of the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us at info@iimaima.com of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., a written email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw, we will reimburse all payments received from you, except:

Return shipping costs
Customs duties and import taxes

We will make the reimbursement within 14 days of receiving the goods back or receiving proof of return shipment, whichever comes first.
